Agape Love Blog – Friday, October 3, 2025God’s Strength in Our Weakness

Good morning, beloved!

Fridays often feel like a finish line at the end of a long week. For some, the week brought blessings, while for others, it carried trials. But no matter what we’ve faced, God’s promise remains—His strength is made perfect in our weakness.

✝️ Verse of the Day“ And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)

We don’t have to be strong enough on our own. Christ’s power rests on us when we lean into His grace.

Weakness is not failure—it’s an opportunity for God’s strength to shine.

On This Day in History – October 3

  • 1863 – President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed Thanksgiving Day as a national holiday, reminding us to give thanks in every season.

  • 1990 – Germany was officially reunified, a picture of restoration and hope after division.

National Days – October 3

  • National Techies Day – Celebrating those who use technology to shape the future and connect people.

  • National Boyfriend Day – A day to show appreciation for meaningful relationships.

Friday Reflection: Strength in Him

Our human tendency is to hide our weakness, but God invites us to embrace it as the very place where His strength can be revealed. When we rely on His power, we find peace, courage, and victory.

The weaker we feel, the stronger Christ shows Himself to be.

Friday Prayer:Lord, thank You that Your grace is sufficient for me. In my weakness, let Your strength be revealed. Help me to rely not on myself but on You, and let my life reflect Your power. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Challenge: I identify one area where you feel weak right now. Pray over it and invite God’s strength to fill the gap.

May your Friday be filled with peace, gratitude, and the strength that only Christ can provide.

With grace and strength, Sarah M. Skaggs Agape Love Ministry “God’s grace is sufficient, and His strength is enough.”
