Agape Love Blog – Sunday, September 14, 2025Grounded in God’s Love

Good morning, beloved!

Sunday is a day of worship, renewal, and rest. It’s a time to lift our hearts in praise and remember that no matter what’s happening in the world, God’s love remains steady and true.

✝️ Verse of the Day

“We love him, because he first loved us.”1 John 4:19 (KJV)

The deepest heritage we have as believers is rooted in love—the love of Christ poured out for us on the cross.

Love is the foundation of every heritage worth passing down.

On This Day in History – September 14

  • 1814 – Francis Scott Key wrote the poem that became The Star-Spangled Banner, reminding us of resilience and hope even in the midst of battle.

  • 1901 – President William McKinley passed away, and Theodore Roosevelt became the 26th U.S. President, marking a pivotal moment in American leadership.

Christian Heritage & Holidays – September 14

  • Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross (observed in some traditions) – A reminder of the power and victory of Christ’s sacrifice on Calvary.

National Days – September 14

  • National Cream-Filled Donut Day – A sweet way to enjoy fellowship and fun.

  • National Live Creative Day – A day to celebrate the creativity God has given us to reflect His image.

Sunday Reflection: Passing Down a Heritage of Faith

Heritage is more than traditions or history—it’s the legacy of faith we live and share. The best inheritance we can leave behind is the testimony of God’s love and His Word at work in our lives.

History shows us where we’ve been. Heritage reminds us who we are in Christ.

Sunday Prayer

Lord, thank You for the gift of love that flows from Your heart. Help me to live today in a way that leaves a heritage of faith and love for those who come after me. May I worship You in spirit and in truth this Sunday. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Challenge

Spend a few minutes sharing a story of God’s faithfulness with a family member or friend today—let your testimony be part of your living heritage.

May your Sunday be filled with worship, peace, and the joy of God’s everlasting love.

With love and faith,Sarah M. SkaggsAgape Love Ministry“The truest heritage is the love of Christ passed from heart to heart.”
