The Strength to Endure

Good morning, dear friends!

As we step into a new day, we’re reminded that endurance isn’t about pushing forward in our own strength but relying fully on God’s. Life will bring challenges, but God’s Word assures us that His grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in our weakness.

✝️ Verse of the Day“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

When we grow tired, God lifts us higher than we ever imagined.

Endurance is less about willpower and more about God’s power.

  • 1959 – Hawaii became the 50th U.S. state, showing how God continues to shape nations and histories.

  • National Senior Citizens Day – A wonderful reminder to honor the wisdom, love, and faithfulness of those who have gone before us.

  • National Spumoni Day – A sweet Italian ice cream treat to enjoy with loved ones.

Thursday Reflection: Soaring in His Strength

When life leaves us weary, God’s Word tells us to wait on Him. Waiting isn’t passive—it’s an act of trust. As we trust in Him, He renews our strength so we can soar above life’s trials.

You don’t have to run on empty—God promises to refill you daily.

Thursday Prayer:Lord, thank You for being my strength when I am weak. Help me to lean on You in seasons of waiting and weariness. Teach me to soar above life’s challenges with faith and endurance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Challenge:Encourage someone who may be feeling weary. Send them a verse, a prayer, or a simple reminder that God is their strength.

Walk today with confidence—God has promised to renew your strength.

With endurance and love,Sarah M. SkaggsAgape Love Ministry“Those who wait on the Lord never wait in vain.”
