Agape Love Blog – Thursday, August 28, 2025Hope That Never Fades

Good morning, beloved!

As we move through this week, let us be reminded that our hope is not in circumstances, possessions, or even people—it is in Christ alone. The world’s hope may rise and fall, but the hope we have in Jesus is unshakable and eternal.

✝️ Verse of the Day“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”Romans 15:13 (KJV)

When we place our trust in God, He fills us with joy, peace, and a hope that endures every trial.

Hope is not wishful thinking—it is confident trust in God’s promises.

On This Day in History – August 28

  • 1963 – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his historic “I Have a Dream” speech, a powerful reminder of justice, hope, and unity.

  • 1968 – The Beatles released “Hey Jude,” a song that became an anthem of encouragement and perseverance.

  • National Cherry Turnover Day – A sweet way to celebrate God’s goodness with simple joys.

Thursday Reflection: Anchored in Hope

Hope is the anchor of our souls—it keeps us steady when life feels uncertain. Today, let your heart rest in the truth that God’s promises never fail.

No matter how dark the night, the dawn of God’s faithfulness always comes.

Thursday Prayer:Lord, thank You for being my source of unshakable hope. Fill me with Your joy and peace today, and help me to overflow with hope through the power of Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Challenge:Share a word of hope with someone today. It could be a Scripture, a kind word, or a simple reminder that God is faithful.

As you walk through this Thursday, may your heart be anchored in the living hope of Christ.

With hope and joy,Sarah M. SkaggsAgape Love Ministry“Hope in Christ is the anchor that steadies the soul.”
