Good morning, beloved!

As Thursday dawns, we step into a day crafted by our loving Father—a day filled with purpose, promise, and potential. You didn’t just wake up by chance today. You woke up because God still has a plan for you.

No matter where you find yourself—on the mountaintop or in the valley—He is walking with you, guiding your steps and writing a story of grace through your life.

You don’t need to see the whole path to keep walking.

Just take the next step in faith.Trust that He is ahead of you.Believe that your journey matters to Him.

On This Day in History – August 7

• 1782 – General George Washington created the Badge of Military Merit, now known as the Purple Heart. Let’s honor the brave and remember that sacrifice often brings freedom.

• 1959 – The U.S. launched the Explorer 6 satellite, sending back the first images of Earth from space—a powerful reminder of just how big our God is and yet how personally He loves each of us.

National Days – August 7

• Purple Heart Day – Say a prayer for our military heroes and their families. May God protect, heal, and strengthen all who have served.

• National Lighthouse Day – A beautiful symbol of what we are called to be in this world. “Ye are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14).

You are called to be a light today.Maybe it’s a smile, a kind word, a silent prayer, or a bold testimony—whatever it is, let the love of Jesus shine through you.

Be a lighthouse in someone’s storm.Be a gentle reminder that hope still lives.

Your presence matters more than you know.

Thursday Prayer:Lord, thank You for ordering my steps and writing my story. Today I surrender my plans and ask that You use me to shine Your light. Help me encourage someone who feels lost, and remind me that even the smallest act of love can point others to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Challenge:Be the light. Reach out to someone who needs encouragement. Let your words reflect Christ and your heart reflect compassion.
