Walking in God’s Light

Good morning, beloved!

As we continue into this new month, it’s a blessing to remember that God calls us to walk in His light. In a world often clouded by darkness and uncertainty, His Word shines as our guide, illuminating the path and keeping our steps steady.

✝️ Verse of the Day“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”Psalm 119:105 (KJV)

When life feels confusing or uncertain, God’s Word brings clarity, hope, and direction.

Walking in God’s light keeps us from stumbling in the world’s shadows.

On This Day in History – October 2

  • 1835 – The Texas Revolution began, a reminder of courage in the fight for freedom.

  • 1950 – Charles M. Schulz’s Peanuts comic strip was first published, bringing joy to generations through simple, heartfelt truths.

Thursday Reflection: Guided by the Word

We don’t have to walk blindly through life. God has given us His Word as a lamp to guide each step. When we follow His light, we avoid the pitfalls of fear, confusion, and temptation.

The closer we stay to God’s Word, the brighter our path becomes.

Thursday Prayer: Lord, thank You for the light of Your Word. Help me to walk in it faithfully today. Guide my decisions, direct my steps, and let my life shine with Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Challenge: Choose one verse from Scripture to meditate on throughout the day. Let it light your path and encourage your spirit.

May your Thursday be filled with clarity, direction, and the steady light of God’s Word.

With light and love, Sarah M. Skaggs Agape Love Ministry “God’s Word doesn’t just light the path—it lights the heart.”
