Strength for the Journey Ahead
Good morning, beloved!
A new day has dawned, and with it comes fresh opportunities to walk in God’s love and strength. Tuesdays often feel like the “working rhythm” of the week, but let us remember that our true strength comes not from coffee, energy, or effort—but from the Lord Himself.
✝️ Verse of the Day“The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.”— Psalm 118:14 (KJV)
When our energy fades, His strength remains. When our joy feels low, He fills us with His song.
Strength is not about pushing harder—it’s about leaning deeper into Him.
On This Day in History – September 2
1666 – The Great Fire of London began, destroying much of the city. A sobering reminder that earthly things can be lost, but God’s presence is eternal.

1945 – World War II officially ended with Japan’s surrender, a reminder of the power of peace and the importance of prayer for nations.
National Days – September 2
National V-J Day (Victory over Japan Day) – Honoring the end of WWII and remembering those who sacrificed for peace.
National Blueberry Popsicle Day – A fun, simple reminder to savor the little joys God provides.
Tuesday Reflection: God, Our Strength
Each step we take today is sustained by God’s power. We may face challenges, but He promises to walk with us and provide the strength we need.
When we feel weak, His strength shines brightest.
Tuesday Prayer:Lord, thank You for being my strength, my song, and my salvation. Remind me today to lean on You, not on my own understanding or ability. Fill me with Your joy and peace as I walk through this day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Today’s Challenge:Write down one area of your life where you feel weak, and pray specifically for God’s strength to meet you there today.
May this Tuesday be filled with renewed strength, joyful praise, and the peace of knowing you are not walking alone.
With love and encouragement,Sarah M. SkaggsAgape Love Ministry“True strength is found in surrender to God’s power.”
