🌿 Faith That Perseveres Through Change 🌿
God does some of His deepest work when seasons shift and we must learn to trust Him anew.
🌅 Morning Reflection
Good morning, dear friends 🤍Change can feel unsettling.
Even good change requires adjustment.Even answered prayers can require courage.
But Scripture reminds us that God is constant—even when everything around us moves.
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”— Hebrews 13:8 (KJV)
When seasons change, His character does not.
✝️ Today in Christian History
February 17 commemorates faithful believers remembered for perseverance and steadfast witness.
Among them is St. Finan of Lindisfarne, a 7th-century bishop who helped spread Christianity throughout England during a time of cultural transition.
He ministered during a period of change—bridging traditions, strengthening communities, and planting seeds of faith that would endure for generations.
His life reminds us:
faith adapts without compromising truth
leadership requires humility
perseverance bears fruit over time
“Be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.”— 1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV)
📜 Today in World History
February 17 marks moments of cultural, scientific, and artistic progress throughout history.
In 1801, Thomas Jefferson was elected President by the House of Representatives, marking a significant peaceful transition of power in American history.
Transitions matter.
History shows that how we navigate change often shapes what comes next.
Faith teaches us to move through change with trust rather than fear.
🌾 A Heritage Reflection
Our spiritual heritage is filled with seasons of change:
Early Christians navigating persecution
Reformers guiding new movements
Families rebuilding after hardship
Churches adapting through generations
Heritage reminds us that faith has always endured through shifting landscapes.
“The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.”— Deuteronomy 33:27 (KJV)
Even when foundations feel uncertain—His arms are steady.
