🌿 “Choose Joy” 🌿
Good morning, beautiful soul.
Joy isn’t always easy to hold onto.
Life happens…circumstances change…and some days feel heavier than others.
It’s in those moments that joy can feel far away.
But God shows us something powerful—
Joy is not just a feeling. It’s a choice.
“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”— Psalm 118:24 (KJV)
Notice the words we will rejoice.
It’s a decision.
Not based on everything going perfectly…but based on who God is.
Joy comes from knowing:God is still in control.God is still good.God is still with you.
“Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.”— Philippians 4:4 (KJV)
Even in difficult seasons—you can still choose joy.
That doesn’t mean ignoring your feelings. It means not letting those feelings take over your faith.
Joy can look like:• Thanking God in the middle of the storm• Trusting Him when you don’t understand• Holding onto hope when things feel uncertain
“For the joy of the Lord is your strength.”— Nehemiah 8:10 (KJV)
Joy strengthens you.
It lifts your spirit. It reminds your heart of truth.
So today…
No matter what you’re facing—choose joy.
Not because everything is perfect…but because God is faithful.
đź’› Reflection
What situation in my life do I need to choose joy in today, even if it’s difficult?
🙏 Prayer
Father,Help me to choose joy today, no matter what I’m facing. Remind me that my joy comes from You and not from my circumstances. Strengthen my heart and fill me with Your peace and gladness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
