đż âAbide in Himâ đż
Good morning, beautiful soul.
In a world that constantly pulls at our attentionâŚitâs easy to feel spiritually drained.
We stay busyâŚWe pour into othersâŚWe try to keep upâŚ
And before long, we feel empty.
But God never intended for us to live disconnected from Him.
He calls us to abide.
âAbide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vineâŚââ John 15:4 (KJV)
To abide means to remain. To stay connected. To dwell closely.
Just like a branch draws life from the vineâwe draw our strength, peace, and purpose from God.
When we try to do life on our ownâŚwe become weary.
But when we stay connected to HimâŚwe are strengthened.
âI am the vine, ye are the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruitâŚââ John 15:5 (KJV)
Fruit doesnât come from striving harder.
It comes from staying connected.
From spending time in His Word. From talking with Him in prayer. From resting in His presence.
Thatâs where life flows from.
So todayâŚ
Pause in the middle of your busy schedule.Take a moment to reconnect.
You donât need a perfect setting. You just need a willing heart.
Stay close to Him.
Everything you need flows from that connection.
đ Reflection
What is pulling my attention away from God, and how can I intentionally stay connected to Him today?
đ Prayer
Father,Help me to abide in You daily. When life gets busy, remind me to stay connected to You. Fill me with Your strength, Your peace, and Your presence so that my life may bear fruit for Your glory. In Jesusâ name, Amen.
