đż âWait on the Lordâ đż
Good morning, beautiful soul.
Waiting is one of the hardest things we are asked to do.
We wait for answersâŚWe wait for healingâŚWe wait for doors to openâŚ
And in the waiting, it can feel like nothing is happening.
But just because you donât see movementâŚdoesnât mean God isnât working.
âWait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.ââ Psalm 27:14 (KJV)
Waiting is not wasted time.
It is a place where God strengthens you.It is where your faith grows deeper. It is where trust is built.
Sometimes God uses the waiting season to prepare you for what youâve been praying for.
Because if He gave it to you too soonâŚyou might not be ready to receive it.
âBut they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eaglesâŚââ Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
Notice that waiting is connected to renewal.
God is doing something in you while you are waiting.
He is strengthening your heart. He is refining your faith. He is preparing the path ahead.
So if you find yourself in a season of waiting todayâŚ
Donât lose heart.Donât give up.Donât assume God has forgotten you.
He is workingâeven now.
Trust His timing.
đ Reflection
What am I waiting on God for, and how can I trust Him more during this season?
đ Prayer
Father,Waiting is not always easy, but I trust that Your timing is perfect. Help me to be patient and to find peace in knowing You are working even when I cannot see it. Strengthen my heart and renew my faith as I wait on You. In Jesusâ name, Amen.
