DAILY DEVOTIONAL “Draw Near to God”

Good morning, beautiful soul.

In the busyness of life it can be easy to drift.

Not intentionally.Not rebelliously.Just slowly.

Life fills our schedules.Responsibilities pull at our attention.Worries crowd our thoughts.

But God always extends the same invitation:

Come closer.

“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.”— James 4:8 (KJV)

Notice the promise here.

When we take a step toward God, He responds by coming near to us.

He is not distant.He is not hiding.He is not waiting to condemn.

He is waiting to welcome.

God desires relationship more than routine.He desires connection more than obligation.

You do not need perfect words to approach Him.You do not need perfect circumstances.You simply need a willing heart.

Today, draw near.

Open His Word.Speak to Him in prayer.Thank Him for His goodness.Invite Him into every moment of your day.

And as you draw near to Him, you will discover something beautiful —He has been near all along.
