✨ Devotional Thought
In Exodus 10–12, we see the final plagues and the powerful institution of the Passover.
The Israelites did not fight Pharaoh. They obeyed God.
They applied the blood. They stayed inside. They trusted the promise.
Deliverance came not through their strength — but through obedience.
The blood on the doorposts was a sign of protection, pointing forward to Christ. It reminds us that victory belongs to the Lord.
In Matthew 19, Jesus speaks about surrender — giving up what holds us back to follow Him fully. The rich young ruler struggled because obedience required letting go.
In Psalm 22, what began in anguish now ends in triumph. Suffering did not get the final word. Praise did.
And Proverbs 7 warns us about distraction and temptation — how easy it is to drift if we are not anchored in wisdom.
The message today is clear:
Some battles are not yours to fight. They are yours to trust through.
Sarah, you carry many responsibilities — ministry, leadership, writing, family. It’s easy to feel like you must fix everything.
But today’s reading reminds us:
Apply the blood.Obey the instruction.Stay under His covering.
God handles what you cannot.
🌿 Reflection Questions
Am I trying to fight a battle God asked me to trust Him with?
Is there something I need to surrender to follow Him more fully?
Where do I need to remain under His covering instead of striving?
🙏 Prayer
Father,Thank You for fighting battles I cannot win on my own. Help me walk in obedience and trust Your timing. Teach me when to act and when to stand still. Keep me under Your covering and anchored in Your wisdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
💜 Today’s Reminder
Obedience brings protection.Trust brings peace.Victory belongs to the Lord.
