š» Good Friday Morning, Sweet Friends!
Happy Friday! ā¤ļø Grab your coffee, find a comfortable spot, and let's spend a little time together before we begin this beautiful day God has given us.
As we come to the end of another workweek, I want to ask you something.
Have you ever stopped to think about how many times God has carried you through something you thought you would never survive?
Sometimes we become so focused on the mountain in front of us that we forget all the mountains God has already brought us over.
We've faced disappointments, heartaches, struggles, losses, and moments when we didn't know how we would take another step.
But look at us.
We're still here!
Not because we're so strong, but because God has been faithful.
š Lamentations 3:22ā23 (KJV)
"It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."
Friends, whatever this week has held, we have something to be thankful for this morning.
God has given us another day!

ā¤ļø A Thought From History
Every generation has people who build, discover, teach, and leave something behind.
But I wonder sometimes:
What kind of legacy are we leaving?
Will people remember our kindness?
Our faith?
Our willingness to help?
The way we treated others?
We may never build a famous monument, but we can build something far more meaningful in the hearts of the people God places in our lives.

āļø Christian Heritage ā Remembering God's Servants
October 9 is traditionally associated in several Christian calendars with Denis of Paris, an early Christian missionary and martyr.
According to Christian tradition, Denis served as a bishop in Paris during the third century and was killed because of his Christian faith.
Although many details of his life come from traditions recorded later, he has long been remembered for his commitment to spreading Christianity.
His story reminds us that throughout history, believers have faced tremendous difficulties because of their faith.
Today, many of us can freely open our Bibles, gather in church, sing hymns, and share the Gospel.
Let's never take those blessings for granted.
š 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)
"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:"
Friends, we don't know how many days God has given us.
But we can choose to make today count for Him.
ā¤ļø May we be remembered not simply for what we accomplished, but for how faithfully we served the Lord.

ā¤ļø Today's Agape Love Challenge
Since it's World Post Day, why not send someone a handwritten card?
Not a text.
Not a social media comment.
An actual card or letter!
Tell someone you appreciate them, love them, or are praying for them.
Sometimes a few handwritten words become treasures someone keeps for a lifetime.
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
š” Heritage Corner ā The Lost Art of Writing Letters
Do you remember when getting a letter in the mailbox was something special?
Before email, text messages, and social media, we wrote letters.
We wrote to grandparents.
We wrote to friends who moved away.
We sent birthday cards, Christmas cards, thank-you notes, and letters to family members serving in the military.
And when a letter arrived, we recognized the handwriting before we even opened the envelope!
Sometimes we read those letters over and over.
Some people tucked them inside a Bible.
Others placed them in a special box or drawer.
And years later, those handwritten words became priceless reminders of someone they loved.
I think about how much our world has changed.
Today we can communicate instantly with someone across the country.
But sometimes, in all that convenience, we've lost a little of the personal touch.
A handwritten letter says, "I took time out of my day just for you."
And friends, time is one of the most precious gifts we can give someone.
š Proverbs 25:11 (KJV)
"A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver."
ā¤ļø Today's Heritage Question
Do you still have an old handwritten letter, birthday card, or note from someone special?
Maybe it's from your mother, father, grandparents, spouse, or someone who is no longer here.
Who wrote it, and why is it so special to you?
I'd love to hear your memories in the comments.

š Yesterday's Bible Trivia Answer!
Yesterday I asked:
Which woman in the Bible was a seller of purple cloth and opened her home to Paul and his companions?
š„š„š„
The correct answer is...
š B. LYDIA!
š Acts 16:14ā15 KJV
Lydia was a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira.
The Bible tells us she worshipped God, listened to Paul's message, and the Lord opened her heart.
After she and her household were baptized, she welcomed Paul and his companions into her home.
What a wonderful example of hospitality and faith!
Lydia reminds us that our homes, businesses, talents, and resources can all be used to serve God.
You don't have to stand behind a pulpit to make a difference for the Kingdom.
Sometimes ministry begins with simply opening your heart and helping someone.
How many of you got yesterday's answer right? š

š Today's Bible Reading
Psalm 100 KJV
Today's key verse:
š Psalm 100:5
"For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations."
What a beautiful reminder as we end another week!
God was faithful to our grandparents.
He was faithful to our parents.
He is faithful to us.
And His truth will continue through the generations.
Our circumstances may change, but God's faithfulness never does.

š» Today's Inspiration ā Look How Far God Has Brought You
Sometimes we spend so much time looking at how far we still have to go that we forget how far we've already come.
Think about where you were five years ago.
Think about the prayers you were praying.
The mountains you were facing.
The tears you cried.
The situations you thought would never change.
Now look at where you are today.
Maybe life hasn't turned out exactly the way you planned.
Maybe there are still prayers you're waiting on.
Maybe there are people you desperately wish were still sitting beside you.
Maybe you're carrying grief that will always be part of your story.
But through it all, God has continued to give you the strength to take another step.
And sometimes, friends, taking another step is a victory all by itself.
We don't always recognize how strong God has helped us become because we're too busy trying to survive the season we're in.
But one day we look back and realize:
"Lord, You really did carry me through all of that."
So today, don't measure your life only by what you haven't accomplished.
Remember the battles you've survived.
The lessons you've learned.
The people you've helped.
The prayers God has answered.
And the times He gave you peace when you didn't understand what was happening.
You may not be where you want to be yet.
But thank God, you're not where you used to be!
And as long as God gives us another day, there is still purpose in our journey.
ā¤ļø God is right on time!
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
š Let's Pray Together
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for waking us up to another beautiful Friday.
Thank You for carrying us through another week.
Lord, when we look back over our lives, we can see so many times when Your mercy and grace sustained us.
There were days we didn't know how we would make it, but You gave us strength.
There were nights filled with tears, but You gave us another morning.
There were doors that closed, but You continued to guide our steps.
Forgive us for the times we forget to thank You.
Help us recognize the blessings all around us.
Lord, today we pray for those who are grieving and missing someone they love.
Comfort their hearts.
Strengthen those who are exhausted.
Touch those who are sick.
Provide for families struggling to make ends meet.
Encourage those who feel forgotten.
And help us be mindful of the people around us who may be fighting battles we know nothing about.
May our words bring encouragement rather than discouragement.
May our actions show kindness rather than judgment.
And may our lives point others toward You.
Thank You for Your faithfulness through every season.
In Jesus' precious name,
Amen. ā¤ļø
