“He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”— Psalm 23:3

🌿 Devotional Thought

Grief has a way of draining the soul.

It’s more than just sadness…it’s a deep weariness that settles into your heart.

There are moments when you may feel like you’ve lost a part of yourself—like the person you used to be feels distant.

And in those moments, you may wonder:

“Will I ever feel whole again?”

But Psalm 23:3 gives us a beautiful promise:

God restores your soul.

Not all at once…not in a rushed or forced way…

but gently, faithfully, and completely in His time.

Restoration doesn’t mean forgetting.It doesn’t mean the love or the loss disappears.

It means that God begins to bring life back into the places that feel empty.

He brings peace where there has been turmoil.He brings strength where there has been weakness.He brings light into places that once felt dark.

And slowly…you begin to feel pieces of your heart being restored.

You may smile again.You may feel moments of joy again.You may sense a quiet peace growing within you.

That is not forgetting.

That is healing.

So today, if your soul feels tired…

Lean into the One who restores.

You don’t have to fix yourself.You don’t have to rush the process.

God is already at work within you.
