“And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”— Colossians 1:17

🌿 Devotional Thought

Grief can sometimes make life feel like it’s falling apart.

Things that once felt steady may now feel uncertain…Emotions may come and go without warning…And your heart may feel like it’s trying to hold everything together at once.

It’s exhausting.

Trying to stay strong…Trying to keep moving…Trying to make sense of something that doesn’t make sense.

But today, God gently reminds you of this truth:

You are not the one holding everything together.

He is.

Colossians 1:17 tells us that by Him all things consist—meaning everything is held together by His power, not our own.

Even when your heart feels fragile…Even when your thoughts feel scattered…Even when life feels uncertain…

God is still holding you together.

You don’t have to carry that responsibility.

You don’t have to keep it all from falling apart.

You can rest in the truth that:

When you feel like you’re unraveling…God is sustaining you.

When you feel like you can’t keep going…God is strengthening you.

When you feel like everything is too much…God is holding you together.

So today…

Take a deep breath.

Release the pressure.

And rest in His hands.

Lord,When life feels overwhelming, remind us that we are not the ones holding everything together—You are. Help us release the pressure we carry and rest in Your strength. Hold our hearts steady and surround us with Your peace today.In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
