“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”— Psalm 27:1

🌿 Devotional Thought

Grief can sometimes feel like a heavy darkness.

Not always visible to others…but deeply felt within your heart.

There are moments when everything feels dim…when joy feels distant…when the weight of loss seems to overshadow everything else.

But even in the darkest places…

God is your light.

Psalm 27:1 reminds us that the Lord doesn’t just give light—

He is light.

That means wherever He is…darkness cannot stay.

Even if the light feels small…even if it’s just a flicker…

It is still powerful enough to guide you.

God’s light may show up in quiet ways:

A moment of peace you didn’t expect…A memory that brings warmth instead of only pain…A kind word at just the right time…

Those are glimpses of His light breaking through.

You don’t have to find your way out of the darkness alone.

God is already there—shining gently, leading you forward one step at a time.

So today, if your heart feels heavy…

Look for the light.

Even the smallest glimpse is a reminder:

You are not alone.And the darkness will not last forever.
