One of the deepest fears in grief is this:

“What if they are forgotten?”

What if time moves on…What if life keeps going…What if the world forgets the one we still hold so dearly in our hearts?

But God reminds us of something powerful in Song of Solomon 8:7:

Love cannot be extinguished.

Not by time.Not by distance.Not even by death.

The love you shared does not disappear—it transforms.

It lives on in the way you remember them.It lives on in the stories you tell.It lives on in the values they instilled in you.It lives on in the quiet moments when you feel their presence in your heart.

Grief is not the end of love.

It is the continuation of love in a different way.

And that love is one of the most beautiful gifts God has given us.

So when you feel that ache today…

Remember this:

You are not just carrying pain.You are carrying love.

A love that is strong.A love that is enduring.A love that will never be taken away.

Because real love—God-given love—still lives.
