💜 Agape Love Daily Grief Support Devotional 💜🌿 May 12, 2026“God Understands Your Tears”

📖 Scripture (KJV)

“Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?”— Psalm 56:8

🌿 Devotional Thought

Sometimes grief comes quietly.

A memory appears out of nowhere…a familiar song begins to play…or your heart suddenly feels the weight of missing them all over again.

And before you realize it…

The tears come.

There are tears people see…and there are tears you cry when no one else is around.

The silent tears.The exhausted tears.The tears that carry love, longing, and heartbreak all at once.

But Psalm 56:8 gives us a beautiful reminder:

God notices every single tear.

Not one is ignored.Not one is forgotten.

The Bible says He gathers them like precious treasures in a bottle.

That means your pain matters to Him.

Your grief is not “too much.”Your emotions are not a burden to God.

He understands the tears you cannot explain.

And even when others may not fully understand what your heart is carrying—

God does.

He sees every memory attached to those tears.Every moment of love behind them.Every ache hidden deep within your heart.

So today, if tears come…

Let them come.

There is no shame in grieving deeply.

Tears are not weakness.

Sometimes they are simply love continuing to speak.

And through every tear—

God is near.

Lord,Thank You for seeing every tear and understanding every emotion we carry. When grief feels overwhelming, remind us that we are never alone and that You are close to the brokenhearted. Hold us gently today and bring peace to our hearts.In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
