📖 Scripture (KJV)

“And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.”— Deuteronomy 31:8

🌿 Devotional Thought

There are days in grief when the journey feels long.

Days when you feel emotionally exhausted…days when memories feel especially close…days when you quietly wonder how you’re supposed to keep moving forward.

And yet—even on those days—

God is still walking beside you.

Not just on the strong days.Not just on the peaceful days.

But on the difficult days too.

Deuteronomy 31:8 reminds us that God goes before us, stays beside us, and never leaves us.

That means there is not one moment of this journey you face alone.

When your heart feels weary—He is near.When your thoughts feel heavy—He is near.When you feel uncertain about tomorrow—He is already there waiting for you.

Sometimes grief can make you feel disconnected from the world around you.

But you are never disconnected from God’s presence.

Even when you cannot feel Him clearly…even when emotions cloud your heart…

He is still faithfully walking beside you.

Holding you steady.Strengthening your spirit.Guiding you one step at a time.

So today…

You do not have to force yourself to be strong.

Just keep walking.

One breath.One prayer.One moment at a time.

And trust that God is lovingly walking every step with you.
