šā AGAPE LOVE DAILY ā OCTOBER 1, 2026Ā āšFaith ⢠Heritage ⢠History ⢠Holidays ⢠Bible Trivia ⢠Bible Reading ⢠Inspirationš HELLO, OCTOBER!Ā
šGood morning, sweet friends! Pour yourself a cup of coffee and spend a few minutes with me this morning.
There is something special about turning the calendar to a brand-new month. October brings cooler mornings, changing leaves, harvest time, warm kitchens, family traditions, and reminders everywhere we look of the beauty of Godās creation.
But more than anything, a new month reminds me of this:
God has given us another day, another month, and another opportunity to walk with Him.
š āThis is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.ā ā Psalm 118:24 KJV
Whatever September held for you, today we turn the page.
Maybe September was filled with blessings. Maybe it brought some tears. Maybe you are still waiting on an answer to a prayer you prayed months ago.
Donāt give up.
God didnāt stop working just because the calendar changed.
š WELCOME, OCTOBER!
Lord, help us enter this new month with thankful hearts, open hands, and faith for whatever You have ahead.

āļø CHRISTIAN HERITAGE ā OCTOBER 1
In several Christian traditions, October 1 commemorates ThĆ©rĆØse of Lisieux, a 19th-century French Christian remembered for what became known as her ālittle wayāāserving God faithfully through simple, everyday acts of love.
I love that thought because sometimes we believe serving God has to involve doing something enormous.
It doesnāt.
ā¤ļø Encourage someone.ā¤ļø Pray for someone.ā¤ļø Feed someone who is hungry.ā¤ļø Sit beside someone who is grieving.ā¤ļø Show kindness when nobody is watching.
Little acts done with great love can make a big difference.

š” HERITAGE CORNER ā OCTOBER HARVEST
For generations, October meant serious preparation for winter.
Families harvested the last vegetables from their gardens, canned and preserved food, gathered apples, stored potatoes, stacked firewood, made quilts, and prepared their homes for the colder months ahead.
Recipes werenāt always written in cookbooks. Sometimes Grandma simply knew how much flour went into the biscuits by the feel of the dough!
And those traditions became part of our heritage.

š» TODAYāS INSPIRATION ā A NEW MONTH, SAME FAITHFUL GOD
October may be new, but the God walking into it with us is the same God who carried us through September.
Some of you are entering October excited about what is ahead.
Some are entering it tired.
Some are grieving.
Some are waiting.
Some are praying for a door to open.
And some may simply be trying to make it through today.
Whatever describes you this morning, remember:
You donāt have to know what October holds when you know Who holds October.
God is already in every tomorrow you are worried about.
So instead of carrying the entire month today, let's simply ask:
āLord, what would You have me do with TODAY?ā
Then tomorrow morning, we'll ask Him again.
One day at a time.
One prayer at a time.
One step of faith at a time.
And remember what I say so oftenāGod is right on time!
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
š LETāS PRAY
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for bringing us into another month. Thank You for carrying us through every mountain and valley of September.
As we begin October, help us not to worry about everything that may happen tomorrow. Teach us to trust You with today.
Lord, bless our homes and families. Comfort those who are grieving. Strengthen those who are tired. Provide for those who are struggling. Encourage those who feel discouraged and answer according to Your perfect will those who have been waiting on You.
Help us notice the beauty around us and never become too busy to thank You for the simple blessings.
May everything we say and do this month bring honor to You.
In Jesusā precious name,
Amen. ā¤ļø
š FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Donāt spend October worrying about what might happen. Spend it trusting the God who already knows what will happen.
ā Grab your coffee, open your Bible, and welcome October with faith!
