⛪ GOOD MORNING, SWEET FRIENDS & HAPPY SUNDAY!

The coffee is brewing, a new morning has arrived, and God has blessed us with another Sunday. ā¤ļø

Before the busyness of the day begins, take just a moment and thank Him.

Thank Him for waking you up.

Thank Him for another breath.

Thank Him for your family.

Thank Him for the prayers He has answered—and even for the ones you're still waiting on.

And if you are able this morning, find yourself a church, walk through those doors, and worship the Lord!

You don't have to have everything together before you go.

Church isn't a place for perfect people.

Come tired.Come discouraged.Come hurting.Come thankful.Come joyful.Just come.

šŸ“– ā€œI was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.ā€ — Psalm 122:1 KJV

šŸ“œ THIS DAY IN HISTORY — OCTOBER 4

šŸš‚ 1824 — Mexico became a federal republicĀ under its new constitution following independence from Spain.

ā›°ļø 1927 — Work began on Mount Rushmore.Ā Sculptor Gutzon Borglum began the enormous project in South Dakota. Work continued for years before ending in 1941.

šŸš€ 1957 — Sputnik 1 was launched.Ā The Soviet Union launched the world's first artificial satellite into orbit, beginning a new chapter in space exploration.

šŸŒ 1958 — The Constitution of the Fifth Republic of France took effect, establishing the governmental framework France continues to use today.

History reminds us that what seems ordinary today may become part of tomorrow's story.

But long before any of us arrived—and long after we're gone—

God will still be God.

šŸ“– ā€œBefore the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.ā€ — Psalm 90:2 KJV

āœļø CHRISTIAN HERITAGE — FRANCIS OF ASSISI

October 4 is traditionally observed by several Christian denominations as the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi.

Francis died on the evening of October 3, 1226, and became remembered for his simple life, care for the poor, service to others, and appreciation for God's creation.

Whatever our denomination or traditions may be, there is a beautiful biblical lesson here:

Serving Jesus means loving people.

Jesus didn't tell us merely to talk about love.

He told us to live it.

šŸ“– ā€œBy this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.ā€ — John 13:35 KJV

Maybe today someone doesn't need a sermon from us.

Maybe they need kindness.

Maybe they need forgiveness.

Maybe they need a meal.

Maybe they need someone to sit beside them.

Maybe they simply need to know:

ā¤ļø ā€œYou matter, and I'm praying for you.ā€

šŸŽ‰ FUN & INTERESTING HOLIDAYS TODAY

🐾 World Animal Day — October 4 is recognized internationally as a day focused on animal welfare and care.

🌮 National Taco Day — Well, here's an easy Sunday dinner idea! šŸ˜‚šŸŒ®

🄃 National Vodka DayĀ is also listed among October 4's informal observances. We'll stick with the tacos and coffee around here! ā˜•šŸ˜‚

šŸ›°ļø World Space Week Begins — October 4–10 celebrates science and space exploration. Its starting date commemorates the launch of Sputnik 1 in 1957.

🐶 And since today is World Animal Day, here's a fun question:

What pet has held a special place in your heart over the years?

Dogs, cats, chickens, horses—or maybe something a little unusual? ā¤ļø

šŸ” HERITAGE CORNER — SUNDAY DINNER AT GRANDMA'S

Does anybody else remember when Sunday dinner was an event?

You went to church in the morning, and afterward everyone gathered around somebody's table.

Maybe Grandma had a roast cooking.

Maybe it was fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, biscuits, gravy, corn, macaroni and cheese—or whatever your family's favorite Sunday meal happened to be.

And there was probably something homemade for dessert. ā¤ļø

But when I think about those meals, the food isn't really what mattered most.

It was the people around the table.

There was conversation.

There was laughter.

There were stories.

Children listened while parents and grandparents talked.

And without realizing it, traditions and family history were being passed from one generation to another.

Friends, don't underestimate the importance of gathering around the table.

Put the phones down sometimes.

Tell the old stories.

Ask Grandma how she met Grandpa.

Ask Dad what life was like when he was young.

Ask Mom about her favorite childhood memory.

Someday, those stories will become treasures.

šŸ“– ā€œOne generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.ā€ — Psalm 145:4 KJV

ā¤ļø HERITAGE QUESTION:

What meal do you remember most from Sunday dinners growing up—and who made it?

šŸ“– YESTERDAY'S BIBLE TRIVIA ANSWER

Yesterday I asked:

What woman in the Bible hid the Israelite spies and helped them escape from Jericho?

🄁🄁🄁

The answer is...

ā¤ļø B. RAHAB!

šŸ“– Read her story in Joshua 2 KJV.

Rahab hid the spies on the roof and later helped them escape through a window using a cord.

And I love what her story eventually shows us:

Your past does not prevent God from writing a new chapter in your life.

Rahab's name would later appear in the genealogy of Jesus Christ in Matthew 1. ā¤ļø

How many of you got yesterday's question right?

🧠 TODAY'S BIBLE TRIVIA

Here's today's challenge!

Which king asked God for wisdom instead of riches or long life?

A. DavidB. SaulC. SolomonD. Hezekiah

šŸ“– Don't Google it!

Grab your Bible and see if you can find the answer.

ā¤ļø Put your answer in the comments, and I'll reveal it in tomorrow's Agape Love Daily!

šŸ“– TODAY'S BIBLE READING

Psalm 122 KJV

As you prepare for worship today, pay special attention to the opening verse:

šŸ“– ā€œI was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.ā€

Don't let attending church become something we simply check off our Sunday list.

Walk through those doors expecting God to speak to your heart.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🌻 TODAY'S INSPIRATION — DON'T JUST GO TO CHURCH, BE THE CHURCH

Sunday morning is wonderful.

We sing.

We pray.

We hear God's Word.

We fellowship.

But friends, following Jesus doesn't end when the final AmenĀ is spoken.

Tomorrow somebody at work may need encouragement.

Someone at the grocery store may need kindness.

A neighbor may need help.

A grieving friend may need someone simply to listen.

A stranger may need a smile.

Church is where we gather—but our mission continues when we leave.

What we hear on Sunday should change the way we live on Monday.

So worship Him today.

Sing even if you can't carry a tune. ā¤ļø

Pray.

Listen.

Encourage somebody.

Shake someone's hand.

Hug someone who needs it.

And when you walk back out those doors...

Take Jesus with you everywhere you go.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

šŸ™ LET'S PRAY TOGETHER

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for this beautiful Sunday morning.

Thank You for another opportunity to gather together and worship You.

Lord, bless every church where Your Word is faithfully preached today. Strengthen pastors, teachers, musicians, ministry leaders, and everyone serving behind the scenes.

Prepare our hearts before we ever walk through the doors.

Help us leave distractions outside and focus our hearts on You.

Comfort those who are grieving today. Touch those who are sick. Strengthen those who are weary. Provide for families who are struggling and give peace to those carrying burdens nobody else knows about.

And Lord, for the person who feels like they have wandered too far away to come back—

Remind them that Your arms are still open.

Help us not only attend church today but live like the church throughout the week.

In Jesus' precious name,

Amen. ā¤ļø

ā˜• FOOD FOR THOUGHT

⛪ Sunday isn't just another day of the week.

It's another opportunity to:

šŸ™ Pray.šŸ“– Hear God's Word.šŸŽ¶ Worship.ā¤ļø Encourage someone.šŸ¤ Fellowship.šŸŒŽ Prepare our hearts to serve throughout the week.

If you haven't been to church in a while, maybe today is the day to walk back through those doors.

You don't have to have everything figured out.

Just come. ā¤ļø

Have a beautiful, blessed Sunday, sweet friends!

And remember—

God is right on time!
