🌻 GOOD TUESDAY MORNING, SWEET FRIENDS!

Grab your coffee, open your Bible, and let's spend a few minutes together before we begin this beautiful day God has given us. ā¤ļø

This morning, one word keeps coming to my heart:

TRUST.

Trusting God is easy when everything is going the way we hoped.

But what about when it isn't?

What about when the answer hasn't come?

What about when the door hasn't opened?

What about when we're praying, ā€œLord, I just don't understand.ā€

That's when faith becomes more than something we talk about.

That's when faith says:

ā€œGod, I don't understand what You're doing, but I still trust You.ā€

šŸ“– ā€œWhat time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.ā€ — Psalm 56:3 KJV

Whatever you're facing today, remember:

God sees farther down the road than we do.

šŸ“œ THIS DAY IN HISTORY — OCTOBER 6

šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø 1683 — German settlers arrived in Pennsylvania.Ā Thirteen German families aboard the ConcordĀ arrived in Philadelphia and later established Germantown. October 6 eventually became associated with German-American heritage.

⚾ 1926 — Babe Ruth hit three home runs in a World Series game.Ā Playing for the New York Yankees against the St. Louis Cardinals, Ruth accomplished the feat during Game 4.

šŸŽ¬ 1927 — The Jazz SingerĀ premiered.Ā The film became famous for helping usher motion pictures into the era of synchronized spoken dialogue.

šŸ‡ŖšŸ‡¬ 1981 — Egyptian President Anwar Sadat was assassinatedĀ during a military parade in Cairo.

Every date on the calendar carries stories of triumph, tragedy, change, and people who helped shape the world we inherited.

But through every generation:

šŸ“– ā€œFor I am the LORD, I change not...ā€ — Malachi 3:6 KJV

āœļø CHRISTIAN HERITAGE — WILLIAM TYNDALE

Today, October 6, is an especially meaningful date in the history of the English Bible.

William TyndaleĀ devoted much of his life to translating Scripture so ordinary English-speaking people could read God's Word for themselves.

His English New Testament was printed in the 1520s.

On October 6, 1536, Tyndale was executed for his work and convictions.

His translations later had a tremendous influence on English Bible translations, including the King James Bible we treasure today.

Think about that the next time you pick up your Bible.

What we can freely open at the kitchen table, others once risked their lives to translate and distribute.

šŸ“– ā€œThy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.ā€ — Psalm 119:105 KJV

ā¤ļø Don't just have a Bible in your home. Have God's Word in your heart.

šŸ” HERITAGE CORNER — GRANDMA'S KITCHEN

Close your eyes for a minute and think about Grandma's kitchen.

Can you remember the smell?

Maybe biscuits were baking.

Maybe there was soup simmering on the stove.

Maybe she was canning vegetables from the garden.

Maybe there was always something sweet waiting under a cake cover. ā¤ļø

Grandma didn't always have fancy appliances.

She might not have measured everything.

A ā€œpinchā€ was a measurement.

A ā€œlittle bitā€ was a measurement.

And somehow everything turned out just right! šŸ˜‚

But the kitchen wasn't only where food was made.

It's where memories were made.

Children sat around the table.

Stories were told.

Family problems were discussed.

Recipes were passed down.

Prayers were prayed.

And many times, faith was quietly taught through everyday life.

ā¤ļø HERITAGE QUESTION:

If you could sit in your grandmother's kitchen one more time, what would you ask her to make for you?

Biscuits? Pie? Chicken and dumplings? Apple butter? Sunday dinner?

Share your memory in the comments. ā¤ļø

šŸ“– YESTERDAY'S BIBLE TRIVIA ANSWER

Yesterday I asked:

Who climbed a sycamore tree because he wanted to see Jesus?

🄁🄁🄁

The answer is...

🌳 B. ZACCHAEUS!

šŸ“– Read the story in Luke 19:1–10 KJV.

Zacchaeus climbed the tree because he was short and couldn't see Jesus through the crowd.

But here's the part I love:

Before Zacchaeus ever introduced himself...

Jesus already knew his name.

šŸ“– ā€œZacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.ā€ — Luke 19:5 KJV

Friend, He knows your name, too. ā¤ļø

🧠 TODAY'S BIBLE TRIVIA

Let's see who knows this one!

šŸ“– Who became queen of Persia after Queen Vashti?

A. RuthB. EstherC. DeborahD. Hannah

Don't Google it!Ā šŸ˜‚

Grab your Bible and see if you can find the answer.

Put your answer in the comments, but don't give away where you found it!

ā¤ļø We'll reveal the correct answer in tomorrow's Agape Love Daily.

šŸ“– TODAY'S BIBLE READING

Psalm 56 KJV

Pay special attention to verses 3–4:

šŸ“– ā€œWhat time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust...ā€

Notice David didn't say:

ā€œI will never be afraid.ā€

He said:

ā€œWHEN I am afraid, I will TRUST.ā€

That's faith.

🌻 TODAY'S INSPIRATION — TRUST HIM WHEN YOU CAN'T TRACE HIM

There are times when God's plan makes perfect sense.

Then there are seasons when we look toward Heaven and say:

ā€œLord, what are You doing?ā€

I've had those seasons.

Most of us have.

We pray for one thing and something completely different happens.

We think a door is opening—and suddenly it closes.

We think we know where we're headed—and the road changes.

But I've learned something:

A closed door doesn't mean God stopped leading.

A delay doesn't mean God said no.

Silence doesn't mean God isn't listening.

And waiting doesn't mean God has forgotten you.

Sometimes God is working in places we cannot see yet.

Maybe He's preparing the opportunity.

Maybe He's preparing another person.

Or maybe He's preparing us.

So today, don't allow what you cannot understand to make you forget what you already know.

You know God is faithful.

You know He loves you.

You know He hears prayer.

You know His Word is true.

And you know...

ā¤ļø God is right on time!

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

šŸ™ LET'S PRAY TOGETHER

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for waking us up to another beautiful Tuesday.

Thank You for Your mercy, grace, and faithfulness.

Lord, today we bring You the things we don't understand.

The unanswered prayers.

The closed doors.

The worries about our families.

The financial concerns.

The health concerns.

The decisions we don't know how to make.

Help us trust You even when we cannot see what You're doing.

Comfort those who are grieving.

Strengthen those who are tired.

Touch those who are sick.

Provide for those who are struggling.

Give peace to those facing uncertainty.

And Lord, place someone in our path today whom we can encourage.

May our words bring hope instead of hurt.

May our hands serve others.

And may our lives point people toward You.

In Jesus' precious name,

Amen. ā¤ļø

ā˜• TUESDAY FOOD FOR THOUGHT

You don't have to understand everything God is doing to trust that He knows what He's doing.

When you're afraid — TRUST.

When you're waiting — TRUST.

When the door closes — TRUST.

When you don't understand — TRUST.

šŸ“– ā€œWhat time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.ā€ — Psalm 56:3 KJV

Have a beautiful and blessed Tuesday, sweet friends!
