💜 Agape Love Weekend Devotional 💜🌿 February 21 & 22“Held in Love, Even in Grief”

“Held in Love, Even in Grief”

Scripture:“The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.”— Deuteronomy 33:27 (KJV)

Weekends can feel different when you’re grieving.

The pace slows. The quiet stretches longer.Memories seem to visit more freely.

Without the distraction of busy schedules, your heart may feel what it has been carrying all week. And sometimes that feels heavy.

But here is the beautiful truth for this weekend:

You are held.

Not just emotionally. Not just spiritually. But eternally—by the everlasting arms of God.

When grief feels overwhelming, those arms do not loosen. When tears come unexpectedly, those arms do not withdraw. When the ache feels deep and personal, those arms hold you tighter.

Grief is love that still longs.Grief is love that remembers.Grief is love that refuses to disappear.

And love—real love—never ends.

As this weekend unfolds, give yourself permission to:

  • Rest without guilt

  • Remember without fear

  • Smile without shame

  • Cry without apology

You are not moving on.You are carrying love forward.

And beneath every breath you take, beneath every memory you hold, beneath every tender moment—

God’s everlasting arms are underneath you.

🤍 Weekend Prayer

Lord,As this weekend begins, wrap me in Your everlasting arms. When grief feels heavier in the quiet, remind me that I am held securely in Your love. Give me rest for my soul, peace for my heart, and gentle hope for the days ahead. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

💜 Agape Love Reminder:You are not alone.Your grief matters.Your love still lives. And you are deeply, eternally held.
