Theme: Strength for Every Sentence Scripture:“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” — Philippians 4:13 (KJV)
Some days, writing feels effortless — the ideas flow, the message is clear, and your heart is full. Other days, it feels like every sentence is a climb uphill. The inspiration seems distant, your thoughts feel scattered, and doubt whispers that maybe you’re not cut out for this calling after all.
But God gently reminds you: You are not writing alone. The same strength that carries you through trials, comforts you in grief, and empowers you in ministry is the same strength that will fill your pen.
When Paul said he could do all things through Christ, that included everything God asked him to do — even the things that felt impossible. For you, that includes writing the devotionals you’ve been called to write, finishing the stories God placed in your spirit, and sharing truths that someone else desperately needs.
Writing in your own strength will always lead to frustration. But writing through Christ leads to breakthrough. His strength fuels creativity, steadies emotion, and breathes life into empty pages. You don’t have to feel strong today — you just have to be willing. He’ll take care of the rest.
Reflection Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for being my strength in every season. On the days when the words don’t come easily, remind me that You are with me and You will supply every word I need. Help me write with Your strength, Your courage, and Your peace. In Your name, Amen.
Today’s Challenge:Write one paragraph today relying fully on Christ’s strength — not pressure, not perfection, but partnership with Him. Let the words flow from a place of trust, not trying.
