Theme: The Power of a Willing Pen Scripture: “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.” — Colossians 3:23 (KJV)
There’s something deeply powerful about a willing heart — especially in a writer. When you pick up your pen or open your keyboard with a desire to glorify God, you step into partnership with the Author of creation Himself.
It’s easy to get caught up in numbers — how many read, liked, or shared your words — but true ministry happens in the unseen. Sometimes, the message God gives you may reach only one person… but that one soul could change generations. The goal isn’t applause — it’s obedience.
Writing “heartily as unto the Lord” transforms every moment at your desk into worship. Every word becomes an offering. Even when inspiration feels distant, your willingness to show up becomes a testimony of faith. God isn’t looking for perfection — He’s looking for surrender.
A willing pen in God’s hand can reach hearts across time and distance. You never know how He will use your words, but you can be sure that when you write with love and obedience, your message will find its way exactly where He intends.
Reflection Prayer:
Lord, thank You for trusting me with words that can make a difference. Help me to write faithfully and wholeheartedly for You, not for recognition but for Your glory. Use my words to inspire, comfort, and draw others closer to Your heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Today’s Challenge: Before you write today, pray this simple prayer: “Lord, make my pen willing and my heart sincere.” Then, write from that place of gratitude and devotion — as worship, not work.
