✍️ Author Devotional – November 9, 2025

Theme: Let God Be the AuthorScripture:“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” — Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV)

As writers, we often want to plan every word, every chapter, and every outcome. But sometimes, God calls us to step back and let Him take the pen. When we release control and trust Him to guide our thoughts, our writing transforms from mere words into divine purpose.

God knows the hearts your words are meant to reach — even before you write them. He knows when a sentence needs to pause, when a story needs to bend, and when a message must be rewritten to align with His will. The journey of writing for Him isn’t about perfection; it’s about partnership.

Each time you invite Him into your process, you are saying, “Lord, this story belongs to You.” And that simple act of surrender changes everything. He takes what we offer — our ideas, experiences, and emotions — and molds them into something far more powerful than we could ever imagine.

So today, release your need to understand the “how” and “why.” Just trust the Author of your life to write through you. His pen never wavers, and His purpose never fails.

Reflection Prayer:

Lord, thank You for being the true Author of my words and my life. Help me to trust You fully in my writing — to let You lead, guide, and inspire each word. Use my writing to glorify You and touch the hearts that need Your truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Challenge:Before you begin writing today, take a moment to pray, “Lord, write through me.” Then, start your work with a surrendered heart, trusting Him to shape every word.
