Scripture:“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)
Every writer has those days — when the page stays blank, the words refuse to flow, and discouragement whispers, “Maybe you’re not called to this after all.” But God reminds us that even in weakness, His grace is enough.
You don’t have to have all the words today. You don’t have to feel inspired every moment. Sometimes, obedience looks like simply showing up — opening your journal, your laptop, or your notebook — and saying, “Lord, here I am. Use me.”
The beauty of being a Christian writer is knowing that you’re not creating alone. The Author of Life sits beside you, guiding your thoughts, shaping your sentences, and breathing life into your message. When you feel drained, lean on His strength. When your ideas seem small, remember that a single sentence inspired by God can change a life forever.
God never asked for perfection — just presence. Keep showing up with a willing heart, and He will meet you there, filling your emptiness with His power.
Reflection Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being my strength when I feel weak. Help me to remember that even when my words fail, Your Word never does. Fill me with Your grace and renew my spirit to keep writing for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Today’s Challenge: Write one line today — even if that’s all you can do. Don’t focus on quantity. Focus on surrender. One Spirit-led sentence is worth more than a thousand written without Him.
