Theme: Writing for God’s Glory Title: When Words Heal Scripture:“Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.”—Proverbs 16:24 (KJV)
Devotional: As an author, your words have the power to do far more than entertain—they can heal. When you write from a heart touched by God’s love, your words become medicine for weary souls.
There is a sweetness in Spirit-led writing that cannot be manufactured. It’s the result of time spent with the Lord, allowing His truth to flow through you. Every devotion, story, or sentence written in His presence carries a healing anointing.
Your words can lift burdens, restore hope, and bring light to dark places. They may even reach someone silently praying for a sign of God’s love. Never underestimate the power of what He gives you to share.
So today, write words that heal. Let kindness, grace, and truth drip like honey from your pen, bringing comfort to hearts that need His touch.
Reflection Prompt:How can your writing bring healing and hope to others today?
Prayer:Lord, let my words be sweet to the soul and healing to the heart. Anoint my writing to bring comfort and encouragement wherever it is read. Help me to use every word to reflect Your love and truth. In Jesus’ name, amen.
