❤️😊🕊️ A HEART FULL OF HIS PRESENCE
Love, Joy & Peace Working Together
October Theme: The Fruit of the Spirit
📖 TODAY'S SCRIPTURE — Galatians 5:22–23 (KJV)
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”
☕ Good morning & Happy Sunday, Bible Study Family! 💜
God is so, so good!
What a beautiful week we've had studying the Fruit of the Spirit!
We've learned about three qualities that should become increasingly visible in the life of someone walking with Jesus.
❤️ LOVE — Loving others as Jesus loves us.
😊 JOY — Finding our strength in the Lord, even during difficult seasons.
🕊️ PEACE — Trusting God when life doesn't make sense.
Today, I want us to see how these three work together.
Because the Fruit of the Spirit isn't simply a list of good qualities we try to practice.
It's the evidence of the Holy Spirit working within us.
❤️ LOVE CHANGES HOW WE TREAT PEOPLE
Jesus said:
“By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” — John 13:35 (KJV)
Friend, we can know Scripture, attend church, and talk about our faith, but if we're continually unkind, unforgiving, and hurtful toward others, we need to examine our hearts.
Love should change how we speak.
How we respond when someone disappoints us.
How we treat those who cannot do anything for us.
And even how we talk about people when they aren't around.
Love isn't just something we say. It's something we live.
😊 JOY CHANGES HOW WE FACE LIFE
Nehemiah 8:10 reminds us:
“…for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”
Joy doesn't mean we never experience sadness.
We can grieve and still trust God.
We can face disappointment and still recognize His goodness.
We can walk through a valley and still know He is with us.
Joy isn't pretending life is perfect. It's remembering that Jesus remains faithful through every season.
🕊️ PEACE CHANGES HOW WE HANDLE TROUBLE
Jesus said:
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you…” — John 14:27 (KJV)
When trouble comes, our first response may be worry, fear, or frustration.
But the Holy Spirit teaches us to bring those burdens to God.
We may not know what tomorrow holds, but we can trust the One who holds tomorrow.
And as His peace grows in us, we can become people who bring calm, encouragement, and kindness into difficult situations.
Peace doesn't mean we have all the answers. It means we know where to turn when we don't.
🌿 THREE FRUITS, ONE SOURCE
Here's what I want us to remember today:
❤️ LOVE helps us care for others.
😊 JOY strengthens us through life's challenges.
🕊️ PEACE steadies our hearts when trouble comes.
And all three come from the same source:
JESUS CHRIST.
John 15:5 (KJV) says:
“I am the vine, ye are the branches…”
Just as a branch must remain connected to the vine to bear fruit, we must remain close to Jesus.
Through prayer.
Through studying His Word.
Through obedience.
Through surrendering our attitudes and actions to Him.
Friend, we cannot produce lasting spiritual fruit by simply trying harder.
We need the Holy Spirit working within us every day.
💜 TODAY'S HEART CHECK
Let's ask ourselves three questions:
❤️ LOVE: Am I showing Christlike love to the people around me, especially those who are difficult to love?
😊 JOY: Am I allowing my circumstances to completely control my outlook, or am I remembering God's goodness?
🕊️ PEACE: Am I bringing my worries to Jesus, or am I trying to carry everything alone?
Remember, we're not examining everybody else's fruit this month.
We're asking:
“Lord, what are You growing in ME?”
🙏 TODAY'S PRAYER
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for another beautiful Sunday and another opportunity to grow closer to You.
Lord, fill my heart with Your presence.
Help me love others with patience, kindness, and compassion.
Let Your joy strengthen me when life becomes difficult.
And give me Your peace when worry and fear try to overwhelm my heart.
Forgive me for the times my words, attitudes, or actions have failed to reflect Jesus.
Help me remain connected to the Vine.
Continue growing Your fruit in my life so others may see Your goodness through me.
In Jesus' precious name,
Amen. 💜
🌻 TODAY'S CHALLENGE
As you go through your Sunday, practice all three:
❤️ SHOW LOVE: Encourage someone, offer kindness, or reach out to someone who may be lonely.
😊 SHARE JOY: Thank God for three blessings and share a word of encouragement.
🕊️ CHOOSE PEACE: Surrender one worry to the Lord instead of allowing it to consume your thoughts.
Then pray:
“Lord, let my life reflect Your presence today.”
💬 QUESTION FOR OUR BIBLE STUDY FAMILY:
Of these three—LOVE, JOY, and PEACE—which one has God been helping you grow in lately?
Share in the comments! Let's encourage one another. 💜
🌷 SUNDAY ENCOURAGEMENT
Friend, people may not remember every word we say.
But they often remember how we made them feel.
Did we show kindness?
Did we offer encouragement?
Did we bring peace into a difficult situation?
Did our actions point them toward Jesus?
We won't always get everything right.
We're still growing.
But as we remain connected to Christ, the Holy Spirit continues His work within us.
❤️ LET LOVE GUIDE YOUR ACTIONS.
😊 LET JOY STRENGTHEN YOUR HEART.
🕊️ LET PEACE STEADY YOUR STEPS.
And above all, let Jesus be seen in you.
Have a beautifully blessed Sunday, Bible Study Family!
If you're able, I encourage you to spend time worshiping the Lord with your church family today. There's something beautiful about gathering together to praise Him, hear His Word, and encourage one another. 💜✝️

🌿 TOMORROW — MONDAY, OCTOBER 12
LONGSUFFERING — PATIENCE WHEN THE WAITING IS HARD
Tomorrow we begin studying the next Fruit of the Spirit: LONGSUFFERING.
What does the Bible teach us about patience?
How do we trust God's timing when we've been waiting a long time?
And how can we respond with grace when our patience is being tested?
We'll explore these questions together tomorrow!
