Craft: âScripture Snow Globe Jarâ âď¸đâ¨
Theme:Â Holding Godâs promises close â a snowy reminder of His faithfulness.
â¤ď¸ What Youâll Need:
Small mason jar with lid
Mini Christmas figurine (tree, manger scene, angel, or church)
Waterproof scripture strip (printed on waterproof paper or laminated)
Glycerin (optional, makes slower âsnowfallâ)
Glitter (white, silver, iridescent)
Hot glue gun
Ribbon or twine
Optional:
Mini star
Snowflake stickers
Faux snow for the lid edge
⨠Directions:
1. Prepare the Lid Base
Remove the lid from the jar.
Glue your figurine securely to the inside of the lid.(Example: a small bottlebrush tree, a tiny manger, an angel, etc.)
2. Add the Scripture
Choose a short verse such as:
Luke 2:14
Isaiah 9:6
Matthew 1:21
Print it small, laminate it, or cover it with clear tape to waterproof.Glue or tape it standing near the figurine (or attach it to the back).
3. Create the Snow Globe Water
Fill your jar with:
Water
A teaspoon of glycerin (optional, slows glitter movement)
A spoonful of glitter
Stir gently.
4. Assemble the Globe
Apply hot glue around the inner ring of the jar lid.
Carefully screw the lid (figurine facing down) onto the jar tightly.
Turn upside-down â the scene should be fully immersed.
5. Add Finishing Touches
Wrap ribbon or twine around the jar lid.
Add a bow, mini star, or snowflake embellishment.
Optional: glue faux snow around the outer rim for charm.
âď¸ Faith Reflection:
Psalm 147:16 (KJV)Â â âHe giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.â
Each time you shake this snow globe, let it remind you that even in the quiet, snowy moments, God is present, gentle, and faithful.
