Craft: âSilent Night Star Jarâ đđŻď¸â¨
Theme:Â A peaceful starry-night lantern reminding us of the holy night Jesus was born.
â¤ď¸ What Youâll Need:
Small mason jar or any clear jar
Star stickers (gold, silver, or white)
Black or midnight-blue paint (optional)
Vellum paper or thin white paper
âSilent Nightâ lyric strip printed or handwritten
LED tealight
Ribbon (gold, navy, or white)
Hot glue gun
Optional:
Fine glitter
Mini nativity charm
Metallic paint pen
⨠Directions:
1. Prepare the Jar
You can leave the jar clear, OR lightly paint it with watered-down navy paint for a frosted-night-sky look.Let it dry fully before decorating.
2. Add the Stars
Place star stickers all around the outside of the jar.Scatter them the way stars appear in the night sky.
Optional: Add a touch of glitter to a few stars for sparkle.
3. Add âSilent Nightâ
Cut a small strip of vellum paper.Write or print:âSilent Night, Holy NightâGlue the strip around the center of the jar.
4. Light It Up
Place an LED tealight inside.When lit, the stars glow softly, like the night sky in Bethlehem.
5. Finishing Touches
Tie ribbon around the top of the jar
Add a tiny nativity or star charm
Use a gold pen to outline a few stars or add a moon
6. Display
Perfect for mantels, bedside tables, prayer corners, or Christmas dinner centerpieces.
