(Thrift Store Repurpose â Cozy & Clever)
đĄ The Idea
Turn a thrifted sweater into cozy mittensâperfect for winter, gifts, or even donation projects. This one always gets engagement because people canât believe how easy it is.
đ§ş Supplies:
Thrifted sweater (wool or thick knit works best)
Scissors
Mitten template (trace your hand!)
Needle & thread ORÂ fabric glue / iron-on hem tape
Optional: buttons, felt hearts, embroidery thread
⨠Directions:
Lay sweater flat and trace mitten shape (thumb included).
Cut two pieces per mitten.
Turn inside out.
Stitch, glue, or hem-tape around edgesâleave wrist open.
Turn right-side out.
Decorate if desired.
