š Daily Devotional: āA Love That Time Cannot Touchā
Scripture:
āFor I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life⦠shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.āā Romans 8:38ā39 (KJV)
Grief has a way of stretching across time. One moment you feel steady, and the next a memory rises up that takes your breath away. It doesnāt matter if itās been weeks, years, or decadesāthe love you carry for the one you miss remains just as real, just as tender, just as deep.
But hereās the beautiful truth:Love is not bound by time. Not the love you shared. Not the love God gives. Not the love that holds you together today.
Death may separate us physically, but it cannot erase connection, memory, or meaning. And it certainlyĀ cannot separate you from the love of God. The Lord wraps His love around your grieving heart like a shieldāstronger than sorrow, deeper than loss, and truer than the ache you feel.
When waves of emotion rise, remember:You are held by a God who understands grief. You are strengthened by a Savior who conquered death. You are comforted by a love that no darkness can undo.
Your loved oneās life mattered. Their legacy lives in you. And the love you carryāpure, faithful, eternalācannot be diminished by time, distance, or death. God will continue to walk with you, gently lifting your heart as healing grows, moment by moment.
š Prayer:
Lord,Thank You for a love that time cannot touch and for staying close to me in every season of grief. Help me to rest in the truth that nothingānot even deathācan separate me from Your love. Comfort my heart, steady my steps, and fill me with peace as I honor the memories of the one I miss.In Jesusā Name, Amen.
