š Daily Devotional ā God Meets Us Where We Are
His Presence Goes With Us Wherever We Go
Scripture:āAnd, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goestā¦āā Genesis 28:15 (KJV)
Reflection:Jacob was far from home, uncertain about the future, and lying down with nothing but a stone for a pillow when God met him. In that quiet, vulnerable place, God revealed a powerful truth: His presence is not limited by location, circumstance, or past mistakes.
God did not wait for Jacob to get everything right. He did not demand perfection before offering His presence. He simply promised, āI am with thee.ā
As we walk through this new year, there may be moments when we feel unsettledābetween seasons, decisions, or directions. January 13 reminds us that God often meets us in the in-between places. He shows up when we feel least prepared and reassures us that we are never walking alone.
Wherever 2026 takes youānew responsibilities, unfamiliar paths, or quiet seasons of growthāGod goes with you. His presence is your assurance. His promise is your anchor.
You may not know what lies ahead, but you can rest in knowing Who walks beside you.
Meditation:Pause and reflect:Where do I need to remember that God is with me right now?Let His presence bring peace to that place.
Prayer:Father, thank You for being with me wherever I go. When I feel uncertain or unprepared, remind me that Your presence surrounds me. Help me trust You in every season and rest in the promise that You will never leave me nor forsake me. I walk forward today with confidence because You are with me. In Jesusā name, Amen. š
