šæ Daily Devotional Grief Support āStill Standing, Still Heldā
Scripture:
āThe Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.āā Psalm 121:5 (KJV)
As this month comes to a close, you may pause and wonder how you made it through. Grief has a way of stretching timeāsome days felt endless, others slipped by quietly. Yet here you are.
Still standing.Still breathing.Still held.
You may not feel strong, but strength doesnāt always look like confidence or clarity. Sometimes strength looks like showing up. Sometimes it looks like tears. Sometimes it looks like resting instead of giving up.
God has been your keeper through every single day.In moments of sorrow, He sheltered you.In moments of exhaustion, He shaded you.In moments of doubt, He stayed close.
You didnāt walk this month aloneāeven when it felt that way. God walked beside you, held you steady, and carried you through the days you thought might break you.
As you step into a new month, you donāt have to leave your grief behind. Healing doesnāt require forgetting. It simply invites you to keep walkingāslowly, gently, faithfullyāwith God still holding your hand.
Today, honor how far youāve come. Not because the pain is gone, but because you endured.Because God was faithful.Because you are still here.
And you are still held.
š Prayer:
Lord,Thank You for carrying me through this month. Even on the days I felt weak, You were my keeper. As I step into what comes next, help me trust that You will continue to hold me, guide me, and give me strength for each new day.In Jesusā Name, Amen.
