🌤 Daily Devotional: “He Meets You Where You Are”

Scripture:

“The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.”— Psalm 145:18 (KJV)

Grief looks different every day.Some mornings you wake up with a little more strength, a little more peace.Other days, the heaviness settles in before your feet touch the floor.And then there are moments when the sadness rises without warning—a memory, a song, an empty chair, a quiet moment that stirs the ache again.

But here is the beautiful truth for today:God meets you right where you are.

If your heart feels tender—He is near.If your spirit feels weary—He is near.If you don’t even know what to pray—He is still near.

God doesn’t wait for you to feel stronger, happier, or more put together.He comes close in the brokenness,draws near in the quiet tears,and surrounds you in the places where words fall short.

He already knows what your heart carries today—the longing, the love, the questions, the memories.You don’t have to hide any of it.You don’t have to pretend.You don’t have to be “okay.”

Just call on Him… and He draws near.

And when God comes near, He brings peace that calms,strength that carries,and comfort that gently lifts your spirit.

Wherever you are today—emotionally, spiritually, or physically—He is already there, ready to walk each step with you.
