🍁 Daily Devotional: “Held by His Faithful Love”

Scripture:

“The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.”— Nahum 1:7 (KJV)

Some mornings, grief feels lighter—almost gentle. Other days, it settles in your heart like a quiet weight you didn’t expect to carry. That’s the nature of loss. It comes and goes in waves, reminding you of a love that was deep, real, and precious.

Yet no matter what today feels like, God meets you in it with faithful love.He sees the memories that make your heart ache.He understands the moments that feel overwhelming.He holds the questions you cannot answer.

And in every single breath, He remains your stronghold.

Grief can make the world feel unsteady, but God never shakes.He is your grounding when emotions swirl.He is your shelter when tears fall unexpectedly.He is your comfort when memories rise like warm, soft light.

Even on the hardest days, God carries you. The love you shared with your precious one didn’t end—it simply changed. What you hold now are treasures of the heart: stories, moments, laughter, lessons, and a love that continues to shape who you are.

Hope is not the absence of sorrow; it is the presence of God within it.
