🌿 Daily Devotional January 20th, 2026– God Is Faithful to Finish What He Begins

🌿 Daily Devotional – God Is Faithful to Finish What He Begins

Theme:Ā Trusting God Through the Middle of the Journey

Scripture:ā€œBeing confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.ā€ā€” Philippians 1:6 (KJV)

Reflection:By this point in our journey through January, we are no longer at the starting line—but we are not yet at the destination either. This is often where faith is tested the most: the middle.

The middle can feel slow. The middle can feel unclear. The middle can feel tiring.

Yet Scripture reminds us of a powerful truth—God always finishes what He starts. He does not abandon His work halfway through. He does not grow weary. He does not lose interest in your growth or your journey.

Even when progress feels small or unseen, God is still shaping, refining, and strengthening you. The work He is doing in your heart—through His Word, through obedience, through surrender—is not wasted.

As we draw nearer to Jesus day by day in 2026, let today be a reminder to keep going. Stay in the Word. Stay in prayer. Stay faithful. The God who began this work in you is faithful to complete it.

Meditation:Pause and reflect:Where do I need to trust that God is still working, even if I can’t see the results yet?Offer that place of uncertainty to Him today.

Prayer:Father, thank You for being faithful in every season of my life. When I feel weary or unsure, remind me that You are still at work. Help me trust You in the middle of the journey and remain faithful to seek You daily. I place my confidence fully in You and Your perfect plan. In Jesus’ name, Amen. šŸ’œ
