💛 Daily Devotional – October 7, 2025 💛

Theme: You Are Enough in God’s Eyes

Scripture (KJV):“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” – Psalm 139:14

Reflection: In today’s world, it’s easy to fall into the trap of comparison. Social media is filled with smiling faces, picture-perfect moments, and the illusion of flawless lives. But remember—what we see online is rarely the full story. Everyone has struggles, pain, and days they wish they could redo.

Sometimes we forget that our worth isn’t measured by how many likes we get, how perfect our homes look, or how together our lives appear. God doesn’t look at filters, possessions, or perfection—He looks at the heart. And when He looks at you, He sees someone He created with purpose, love, and beauty.

I think back on my own life and laugh at some of the crazy things I’ve done—thank goodness there wasn’t social media back then! But through every mistake, every failure, and every triumph, one truth has remained: Jesus loves me just as I am. He loves you, too—with all your quirks, imperfections, and messes.

I’m not some super Christian. I get mad. I get discouraged. I even feel unworthy at times. But God’s Word reminds me that through Christ, I am worthy. His grace and mercy meet me fresh every morning.

So today, don’t compare your life to someone else’s highlight reel. Instead, thank God for the blessings in front of you, for the lessons behind you, and for the growth still to come. Don’t strive to be better than anyone else—just strive to be a little more like Jesus and a little better than you were yesterday.

Devotional Thought:God didn’t make junk—He made you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that’s more beautiful than any picture online.

Prayer:Lord, thank You for loving me just as I am. Help me not to compare my life to others, but to see the beauty in the story You’re writing for me. Teach me to be content, grateful, and confident in Your plan. Remind me that my worth is found in You alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
