🌾 Daily Devotional – October 8, 2025 🌾

Theme: God Sees the Real You

Scripture (KJV):ā€œFor the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.ā€ – 1 Samuel 16:7

Reflection: We live in a world that often judges by appearance—how we look, what we have, and what we post. It’s easy to feel unseen or unworthy when others seem to have it all together. But God doesn’t see what the world sees. He looks deeper. He sees your heart, your faith, your struggles, and your efforts to keep going even when it’s hard.

You don’t have to impress God. You don’t have to be perfect or have everything figured out. He loves you right where you are. Every scar, every tear, every moment of doubt—He sees it all and still calls you His child. That’s the beauty of His love. It’s not conditional; it’s eternal.

So when you feel invisible or less than others, remember that the same God who chose David—a simple shepherd boy—to become king, sees greatness in you too. He has placed gifts inside you that are meant to shine, not for the world’s approval, but for His glory.

Devotional Thought: You are fully known and fully loved by the One who created you. That’s what truly matters.

Prayer: Father, thank You for seeing my heart and loving me for who I am, not for what the world expects me to be. Help me to walk in confidence knowing that I am Your child, chosen and loved. Remind me that my value is found in You alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
