🌿 Daily Devotional – October 9 🌿

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”—Isaiah 43:2 (KJV)

There are seasons in life when the waves seem to rise higher than we can stand and the fires of trial burn hotter than we can bear. Yet in those very moments, God gives us this precious promise: “I will be with thee.”

He doesn’t promise the absence of storms, but the presence of His strength through them. The waters may surround you, but they will not consume you. The fire may test you, but it will not destroy you. Because the One who walks beside you is greater than anything that comes against you.

When the world feels unsteady beneath your feet, remember that His presence is your firm foundation. He holds you when you can’t hold yourself. His peace will sustain you, and His love will lead you safely through.

Reflection for Today:What storm or fire are you facing today? Pause and remind yourself—God is with you in it. You are not alone.

Prayer:Lord, thank You for Your promise to walk with me through every storm and trial. When I feel overwhelmed, remind me that Your hand is holding mine. Strengthen my faith and help me to rest in Your unfailing love. Amen.
