đŸŒč Daily Devotional: “Strength for the Slow Days”

đŸŒč Daily Devotional: “Strength for the Slow Days”

Scripture:

“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”— 2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)

Some days in grief move slowly. You wake up feeling the weight of memories. The smallest moments feel heavier than usual.Your heart seems to whisper, “I don’t know how to do today.”

And that’s okay. There is no shame in slow days. There is no guilt in needing gentleness.

In these moments, God offers a promise powerful enough to hold your entire heart:His grace is sufficient.

Not for yesterday. Not for tomorrow. But for today—this moment, this breath, this step.

When you feel weak, His strength rises to meet you. When you feel empty, His grace fills the spaces grief has carved out. When you feel unable to carry the weight, He carries you.

Weakness does not mean failure. It means you are human, you have loved deeply, and you are leaning into the One who understands grief more than anyone else.

Jesus Himself wept.He knows loss.He knows sorrow. And He knows how to strengthen you in the exact place where your heart feels fragile.

Today, take things slowly.Let God’s grace wrap around you like a warm blanket.Let His strength gently steady you.Let His presence reassure you that even on slow days, you are held, loved, and never alone.

💛 Prayer:

Lord,Thank You for Your grace that meets me exactly where I am today. When my heart feels weak or overwhelmed by grief, strengthen me with Your presence. Help me rest in the truth that Your grace is enough and that Your strength will carry me through this day.In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
