🌿 Devotional Thought – “God Sees. God Hears. God Comes Down.”

In Exodus 1–3, we see suffering, oppression, fear — and then we see something powerful.

God sees.

“And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant…” (Exodus 2:24 KJV)

The Israelites were enslaved. Forgotten by Pharaoh. Burdened and weary. Yet heaven was not silent.

God heard every cry.He saw every tear. And then — He came down.

When Moses stood before the burning bush, God declared:

“I have surely seen the affliction of my people… and have heard their cry… for I know their sorrows.” (Exodus 3:7 KJV)

Sarah, this is the same God you preach about. The same God who walks with grieving hearts. The same God who calls ordinary people — like Moses, like you, like me — to step into holy assignments.

In Matthew 16, Jesus asks a question that still echoes today:

“But whom say ye that I am?”

It is not enough to know about Him. We must know Him.

In Psalm 20, we are reminded:

“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.” (Psalm 20:7 KJV)

And in Proverbs 6, we are urged to walk wisely and carefully.

Today’s theme is clear:

🔥 God sees your struggle.🔥 God hears your prayers.🔥 God calls you forward anyway.

He is not distant. He is involved. He is present in the fire that does not consume.

🌷 Reflection Questions

  1. Where in my life do I need to remember that God sees and hears me?

  2. If Jesus asked me today, “Who do you say that I am?” — how would I answer?

  3. Is there an area where God is calling me to step forward in faith?

🙏 Prayer

Father God, thank You for being the God who sees and hears. Thank You that You are not distant from my pain or my purpose. When I feel overwhelmed, remind me You are working. When I feel unqualified, remind me You call and equip. Help me trust You fully and walk boldly in obedience. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

💜 Today’s Encouragement

The fire may be burning…But it will not consume you.

Because the Great I AM is with you.
