💜 “Don’t Let the Enemy Push You Away”

Good morning, beautiful soul.

Today I want to talk about one of the enemy’s most common tactics.

Sometimes the enemy will place thoughts in your mind like:

“People at church are ignoring you.”“They are judging you.”“You don’t belong there.”“You should just stay home for a while.”

But those thoughts are not from God.

The enemy wants you isolated.He wants you discouraged.He wants you away from God’s people.

Because when we step away from fellowship, we slowly grow weaker spiritually.

And what the enemy often whispers is this:

"Just take a little break. You can go back later."

But weeks turn into months.Months turn into years.

And before you know it, the enemy has pulled someone completely away from the place God designed to strengthen them.

The Bible reminds us how important it is to gather together.

“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”— Hebrews 10:25 (KJV)

Church was never meant to be a place for perfect people.

It is a place for hurting people.Healing people.Growing people.

God also makes something very clear:

“Judge not, that ye be not judged.”— Matthew 7:1 (KJV)

If someone truly is judging, then they are the ones who need to be at the altar seeking God.

But we don’t go to church to impress people.

We go because we need Jesus.

I have been through a lot in my 55 years of life, and there have been times when I felt like giving up.

But there is one thing I know with complete assurance:

God has never given up on me.

And I will never give up on Him.

Some people may not understand you.Some people may ignore you.Some people may not like you.

That’s okay.

We are not going to church to be seen by people.

We are going because we love God.

The enemy is a liar.His goal is to pull you away from the very place where God wants to strengthen you.

Sometimes when life gets hardest, it is like the story of Job.

The enemy attacks hardest when you are walking closest with God.

But that is exactly when we must hold on tighter.

Run toward God — not away from Him.

Lean on Him.Lean on His Word.Lean on the people He has placed around you.

Because the safest place you can ever be is in the arms of Jesus.
