Grief Support Devotional: “You Don’t Have to Be Strong Today”

Scripture:“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”— 2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)

Grief often brings an unspoken expectation to be strong—to hold it together, to keep moving, to not let the weight show. But God never asks that of you.

Today, He offers grace instead of pressure.

You don’t have to be strong to be faithful. You don’t have to hide your weakness to be loved. You don’t have to carry everything on your own.

God’s strength shows up most clearly when yours feels gone. When tears come easily, when energy feels low, when your heart feels worn—His grace steps in and fills the space.

Today, let go of the need to be strong.Let grace be enough.Let God carry what you cannot.

đŸ€ Prayer

Lord,Thank You for meeting me in my weakness. Help me release the pressure to be strong and rest in Your sufficient grace today. Carry me with Your strength and peace. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
