âWeeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.ââPsalm 30:5 (KJV)
Grief has its nightsâlong, quiet hours when tears fall freely, and the ache feels endless. Itâs in those moments we wonder if the sun will ever rise again, if our hearts will ever feel light or whole. But Godâs Word reminds us that though sorrow may stay for a season, joy will come.
That promise doesnât erase the pain, but it gives purpose to it. The same God who collects your tears also holds your tomorrows. He walks with you through the valley, never rushing your healing but gently guiding you toward hope.
Hope after loss doesnât mean forgettingâit means trusting that God is still working in your story. Itâs believing that even in the ashes, He is planting seeds of beauty. Itâs the quiet faith that whispers, âLord, I donât understand, but I still believe Youâre good.â
Every sunrise, every gentle breeze, every memory that brings both tears and a smileâthese are reminders that love never dies and that Godâs comfort is never far.
Reflection for Today:What small sign of hope has God shown you in your grief? Hold onto it and thank Him for His tender presence in your healing.
Prayer:Heavenly Father, thank You for being my comfort in the darkness and my hope in the morning. When grief feels heavy, remind me that Your joy will return in Your time. Help me to hold onto Your promises and trust that You are making something beautiful from my pain. Amen.
