Day 12 – October 12th: When God Says Wait

📚 Devotional Thought:

Waiting is one of the hardest parts of walking in God’s will. We live in a world that rewards speed, yet God often calls us to slow down and wait for His perfect timing. When He says wait, it’s not a denial—it’s preparation.

While we wait, God is working behind the scenes—shaping our hearts, strengthening our faith, and aligning circumstances we can’t yet see. Impatience leads to mistakes, but trust in God’s timing leads to blessing.

Learning to wait is learning to rest. It’s surrendering control and choosing peace instead of worry. God’s delays are never wasted time; they’re divine pauses filled with purpose.

🙏 Prayer Prompt:

Lord, teach me to rest in You while I wait. Help me trust that Your timing is perfect and that Your plan is always for my good. When I grow restless, remind me that patience is part of walking in Your will.
