âGod Is Near on the Quiet Daysâ
Scripture:
âThe Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.ââ Psalm 34:18 (KJV)
Some days are not marked by tears or strong emotionsâthey are simply quiet. The noise of the world fades, and what remains is a gentle ache that settles into the heart. These quiet days can feel lonely, as if grief is whispering instead of crying out.
But God is nearâespecially on days like this.
When the world grows still, His presence becomes more noticeable. He sits with you in the silence, holds the memories you carry, and understands the longing that has no words. Quiet does not mean forgotten. Stillness does not mean abandoned.
God draws closest when your heart feels tender and reflective. He sees the love behind the sorrow and honors the depth of your grief. Healing often happens quietlyâthrough rest, reflection, and moments where Godâs peace softly surrounds you.
Today, let the quiet be sacred.Let it be a space where God meets you.Let your heart rest in the truth that you are deeply seen and deeply loved.
Even on the quiet days, you are not alone.
đ Prayer:
Lord,Thank You for being near when my days feel quiet and my heart feels tender. Sit with me in this stillness and surround me with Your peace. Help me rest in Your presence and trust that You are gently healing my heart, even when I cannot feel it happening. In Jesusâ Name, Amen.
