🌿 January 14 Grief Support Devotional: ā€œGod Gives You Strength You Didn’t Know You Hadā€

ā€œGod Gives You Strength You Didn’t Know You Hadā€

Scripture:

ā€œHe giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.ā€ā€” Isaiah 40:29 (KJV)

Grief can leave you feeling depleted—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Some days it takes everything you have just to get through the ordinary moments. You may wonder how you keep going when your heart feels tired and worn.

But God promises strength—not the kind you muster up on your own, but the kind He gives.

When you feel faint, He supplies power. When you feel like you have no strength left, He increases it.When you don’t know how you’re making it through, that strength is Him.

This strength may not look dramatic.Sometimes it looks like getting out of bed.Sometimes it looks like showing up.Sometimes it looks like choosing to keep breathing, praying, and trusting—even when your heart feels heavy.

God’s strength meets you exactly where you are—not when you’re strong enough, but when you’re not. He carries you through moments you thought you couldn’t survive and gently reminds you that you are still here because He is holding you.

Today, acknowledge the strength God has already given you. You may not feel strong, but you are being sustained. And tomorrow, He will give strength again.

One day at a time. One moment at a time.God is faithful in every step.

šŸ’› Prayer:

Lord,Thank You for giving me strength when I feel faint and weary. Help me trust that You are increasing my strength even when I don’t feel it. Carry me through today with Your power, peace, and unfailing love.In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
